Andrew Grove, DMD, MS

BOARD CERTIFIED ENDODONTIST AND DIPLOMATE OF THE AMERICAN BOARD OF ENDODONTICS

Dr. Andrew Grove grew up in the suburbs of Minnesota, where he was immersed in a lively community and cultivated his passion for sports, playing hockey and baseball throughout high school. Demonstrating an early inclination for hands-on work, he also gained valuable experience as an automotive service technician throughout high school and college, which emphasized a career field that allowed him to continue working with his hands. His interest in dentistry sparked early on, inspired by his sister, who worked as a dental assistant for several years. This exposure allowed him to appreciate the importance of oral health and the impact a dentist can have on a person’s well-being. He pursued his academic interests at Minnesota State University – Mankato, earning his bachelor’s degree in human biology and chemistry, laying a strong foundation for his future career.

Dr. Andrew Grove took the next significant step in his journey by attending dental school at Midwestern University, where he obtained his Doctorate of Dental Medicine right here in Glendale, Arizona. During his time in dental school, he was honored to receive the Health Professions Scholarship from the United States Air Force, a pivotal moment that led him to join the military immediately after graduation. Following dental school, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry, which was instrumental in honing his skills, and he was then stationed in San Antonio, Texas, where he gained invaluable experience in a diverse clinical setting.

His journey continued as he was accepted into the USAF Post Graduate Masters Program for Endodontics through the Uniformed Services University based in Bethesda, Maryland. Completing his master’s degree was a rigorous yet rewarding experience, culminating in a multifaceted examination process that led to his board certification through the American Board of Endodontics. This achievement not only validated his expertise in the field but also deepened his commitment to providing exceptional care to his patients.

After practicing endodontics with the USAF in Germany, Dr. Andrew Grove has now chosen to make Phoenix his permanent home for himself and his growing family. While he has stepped away from active duty service, he proudly serves in the United States Air Force Reserve, allowing him to stay connected to the military community that he cherishes. He finds fulfillment in being part of a supportive network of professionals and continues to honor his commitment to service while nurturing his passion for dentistry in a lively new environment.
